On 12 November 2012, MARS team visited the Indonesia Visual Art Archive (IVAA). This ‘educational’ trip was undertaken as part of our efforts to gather necessary inputs and information concerning the handling and processing of archive materials.
An introduction about IVAA was made by Miss Melissa who is one of the key Archive Staff. MARS team was also given the opportunity to enter IVAA’s exclusive archive room to witness their methods of storing and arranging materials. MARS Co-Director, Shahnim Safian, attended several more meetings during that week to discuss some other related issues.
